Kentucky projected to play Big 12 opponent in the Texas Bowl
Kentucky currently sits at 5-1 after picking up their first loss of the season on the road to the #1 Georgia Bulldogs.
We are at the midpoint of the college football season, which means a bunch of media outlets begin to make bowl game predictions.
Brett McMurphy of the Action Network made his bowl predictions and had the Kentucky Wildcats facing off with the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Texas Bowl, which takes place in Houston.
These two teams have never met on the gridiron, so it would be a fun matchup for these two schools to face off head-to-head.
Kentucky could play in a better bowl than this if they were to finish off the season strong, but there are still a bunch of talented teams on the schedule.
The Cats still have Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisville on the schedule, so if they win a few of those ranked games, the Cats could work their way into a really good bowl game.
But if the Wildcats were to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys, this would be a fun matchup in a cool place for the Big Blue Nation to visit.
