Kentucky basketball partners with Drake's apparel brand 'October's Very Own'
The Drake and Kentucky connection continues.
Music artist Drake has included the Kentucky Wildcats in a college collection for his clothing brand, October's Very Own. Per OVO's social media, they have partnered with NCAA Colleges on a limited-edition collection. The collection features the Kentucky Wildcats, Alabama Crimson Tide, North Carolina Tar Heels, Memphis Tigers, and Texas Longhorns.
The collection is available September 29th.
Admittedly, the collection is incredible. OVO will sell jackets, hoodies, and hats that feature retro-looking logos and design for all college teams apart of the drop.
Kentucky basketball deserves your attention this college basketball season.
On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe gives three reasons why you should pay attention to the Kentucky Wildcats this year. John Calipari is entering a pivotal season. The Kentucky Wildcats have failed to have any postseason success for half a decade. It's time he turned things around.
The talent is special. Sure, the Wildcats may be young, but players like DJ Wagner, Antonio Reeves, Aaron Bradshaw and Justin Edwards will be fun and exciting to watch.
The offense statistically will perform a lot better than it did last season. The Wildcats have shooters, and overall boast a stronger offensive attack on paper than they did last year.
