Maxwell Hairston is tied for the SEC and NCAA lead in interceptions after his pick against Georgia
The loss to Georgia wasn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination, but Maxwell Hairston was able to pick off Bulldog quarterback Carson Beck.
This was Hairston's fourth pick of the season, which has him tied for first with Auburn's Jaylin Simpson in the SEC and tied for first with multiple others in all of college football.
Hariston didn't play his best game against the #1 Bulldogs, and his PFF grade wasn't great, but he is a ball hawk and will rack up a ton of picks this season.
He had one of the best showings we have seen from a Kentucky defensive back in a long time against Vanderbilt, where he picked off AJ Swann twice and took them both to the house.
Hairston has also proven that once he gets the football in his hand after picking it off, he is an excellent returner with a nose for the end zone.
There are no moral victories in football, but it is cool to see the talented corner leading the SEC in picks six games into the season.
Let's take a look at Hairston's fourth interception of the season.
