With less than a month until the NBA season gets underway, the annual survey of the league's general managers was published on Tuesday, and the results were littered with former Kentucky Wildcats - another indication of how this program has permeated the league under coach John Calipari.

The most notable result was the vote for best shooting guard in the NBA, where former Wildcat Devin Booker received a whopping 65% of the vote, far more than second place Steph Curry, who received 10%, although he earned best point guard by a wide margin.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also received votes for both best point guard (7%, behind Curry and Luka Doncic) and shooting guard (7%, behind Booker, Curry, and Doncic).

SGA also received votes for MVP and player you would sign if you were building a franchise from scratch, where Nikola Jokic was the frontrunner in each category.

Other Wildcat appearances on this survey include:

Tyrese Maxey - Most likely to have a breakout season (7%, tied for fourth)

Anthony Davis - Best defensive player (received votes) and best interior defender (13%, tied for fourth)

Bam Adebayo - Most versatile defender (13%, third)

Shaedon Sharpe - most athletic (received votes)

Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the defending champion Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, October 24, in the first game of the season, with tipoff slated for 7:30 PM ET.
