DJ Wagner and Justin Edwards named to CBS Sports top ten impact freshman list

DJ Wagner and Justin Edwards received some praise from CBS Sports.

DJ Wagner and Justin Edwards are nearing their college debut as the start of the college basketball season is right around the corner. 

CBS Sports put out their list of top ten freshmen they think will have the biggest impact this season, and both Edwards and Wagner were listed. 

Edwards was second on the list, while Wagner was third. 

The only other SEC player on this list was Aden Holloway of Auburn, so it seems clear the Wildcats have the most young talent in the SEC. 

I was a tad bit surprised to not see Aaron Bradshaw's name on this list, but it could have to do with him still healing from his foot injury. 

I feel confident saying that if this list is redone at the end of the season, Bradshaw will be listed for the season he is about to have in Lexington. 

College basketball is almost here, and the Kentucky Wildcats will once again be one of the best teams in college hoops. 

Congrats to Wagner and Edwards for be listed on this impact freshman list by CBS Sports.
