Take a look at the highlights and box score from Kentucky's 86-46 win over New Mexico State
Kentucky was able to take down the New Mexico State Aggies 86-46 on opening night to start the season 1-0.
All of the freshmen played well, and the Cats had a red-hot second half that led to a wide margin of victory over New Mexico State.
The Cats shot 20% better from the field in the second half than they did in the first half, which is a similar trend from what we saw at the exhibition games.
Second-half teams are great because it makes you feel like if we are within ten points at the half, we can come back and get the victory.
This was a good season-opening test for the Cats, where they wiped the -15.5-point spread out of the water.
Kentucky will have one more tune-up game before the Cats head to Chicago to take on the #1 Kansas Jayhawks.
Let's take a look at Kentucky's highlights and box score from the win over New Mexico State.
