WATCH: Justin Edwards crashes the boards for the putback
Justin Edwards took some bad shots early but has settled in and is working his way near a double-double with four minutes left in the ball game.
Edwards's two best plays of the night were both around the rim, the first being when the freshman forward crashed the boards to throw down a putback dunk. Then, a few moments later, Reed Sheppard found Edwards for a beautiful ally-opp.
The freshman clearly had to settle into the ball game, but things have looked a lot better the deeper we get into this ball game.
Edwards has nine points, eight rebounds, and an assist late in the ball game.
An excellent freshman year is coming for the soon to be lottery pick.
Let's take a look at Edwards's putback dunk and ally-opp slam from the Sheppard dish.
