Early into his Kentucky career, Wagner has shown how easily he can get to the rim, and it has been pretty impressive. The issue has been, at times, Wagner gets to the rim but can't get the layup to fall.

Illinois State went out to a quick lead over Kentucky starting 5-9 from the field but they have cooled off throughout the half. This ball game for Kentucky is an excellent opportunity for the Cats to work on their defense as this will take a lot of work for this team to make a deep run in March.
