WATCH: Reed Sheppard keeps draining threes against Illinois State

Reed Sheppard can't seem to miss from three for the Kentucky Wildcats.

It's no secret that Kentucky freshman guard Reed Sheppard can shoot the basketball as he is shooting 57.8% from three on the season.

That is no different in this ball game, as Sheppard is 2-4 from deep so far from this ball game and has 11 points for the Cats.

The key to remember about Sheppard is that he isn't just a shooter. Sheppard, so far in this game, has five assists, three rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. He is also second on the team in +/- at +28, only behind Tre Mitchell, who is at +29.

Sheppard is the type of shooter that can make them even with a hand in his face which you have to if you want to shoot 50% or better from deep.

No one would have expected to see what we have seen so far on the season from Sheppard, but he has quietly been one of the best players in all of college basketball.

Let's take a look at a few of Sheppard's highlights in this game so far against the Illinois State Redbirds, including some made threes.
