Miami Trends: The Hurricanes are allowing only 48 yards rushing per contest, good for No. 3 in the FBS. The best number versus UM so far this season, 97 yards from Texas A&M. The Canes are doing well on offense as well.
Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke is #8 in the nation with 10.5 yards per passing attempt. He might hand off quite a bit versus Georgia Tech, however.
The Yellow Jackets are 131 out of 133 FBS teams at slowing down the run, allowing 224.2 yards per game. Considering Miami’s rushing attack is sitting at #10 in the nation by way of producing 222.5 yards per outing, look for UM to run the football versus GT.
