Miami has hit paydirt in the Transfer Portal once again. This time, it’s a top running back prospect from Nebraska by way of Monroe (La.) Neville.
The Canes needed more playmakers, and flat out at least one more running back, for the 2023 season. That’s what Ajay Allen from Nebraska will give Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes.

Allen’s Fit With The Miami Hurricanes
This will be a running back that can hit the hole and really go, and Allen will be able to make defenders miss. He’s only listed at 185 pounds. That stated, Allen has been a tough running back and one that can probably add more mass in short order.
Further, he’s going to be a nightmare in space within Shannon Dawson’s air raid-based offensive scheme in Coral Gables. Great pickup for the Hurricanes.
