BREAKING: Michigan State Flips 2024 Linebacker Out Of Missouri

The Spartans add to their 2024 recruiting class on the eve of National Signing Day...

In recruiting circles, December is known as "flip season" and Michigan State has done just that on the eve of National Signing Day.

Three-star Saint Louis (Mo.) Country Day linebacker Carter Enyard just announced his commitment to the Spartans, flipping his original pledge from Kent State out of the Mid-American Conference.

Enyard turned down a scholarship offer from the Golden Flashes to join Michigan State's 2024 recruiting class as a preferred walk-on. The 6-foot-2, 217-pounder is considered the No. 2141 overall prospect, No. 191 linebacker and No. 27 player from the state of Missouri in his class, according to 247Sports composite rankings. Rivals.com lists Enyard as a two-star recruit.

Michigan State defensive coordinator Joe Rossi, whom the Spartans hired away from fellow Big Ten program Minnesota, was the primary recruiter for Enyard. The Missouri native had scholarship offers from UNLV, Bucknell, Western Illinois and Northwest Missouri State, in addition to Kent State.
