Ohio State QB Commit Air Noland Details Buckeyes Commitment at Elite 11
Ohio State Buckeyes class of 2024 quarterback commit Prentiss "Air" Noland finished up his regional Elite 11 workout in Atlanta, thinking he had a "smooth day."
After earning a spot in the Elite 11 FinalsΒ while beating out Michigan commit Jadyn Davis in the process, Noland spoke on why he committed to Ohio State, saying the Buckeyes "hit on all cylinders."
"From a quarterback development standpoint, you know, be able to do anything you want at that school on and off the field," Noland said. "The relationship with the coaches, coach [Corey] Dennis, coach [Brian] Hartline, coach Ryan Day, without them being at Ohio State, I wouldn't have chose it. Them welcoming me with great arms and being authentic with me, it was second to none. And the people around Ohio State, it speaks for itself."
The Fairborn, GA. native announced his commitment to Ohio State April 8, picking the Buckeyes over finalists Alabama, Clemson, Miami, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Oregon.
Noland said the wide receiver classes that Hartline brought in the past two cycles which feature a five-star prospect in Brandon Inniss and five four-star recruits Kyion Grayes, Kojo Antwi, Noah Rogers, Carnell Tate and Bryson Rodgers β as Kaleb Brown and Caleb Burton both transferred out of the program this offseason β played a factor in his commitment as well.
"Yes, most definitely," Noland said. "The '22 and '23 class, it was a great class. I feel like they're at a great situation at a wide receiver standpoint and why not put them at a great situation at a quarterback standpoint."
