Ohio State Kickoff Times, TV Channels Set For First 3 Games In 2023
The Ohio State Buckeyes know who they are playing the first three weeks of the season, but now they know when as well.
The athletic department announced Wednesday afternoon the kickoff times and channels available for four of the Buckeyes' 12 games next season.
In week one when Ohio State travels to Indiana Sept. 2, it will mark the first time the Buckeyes will play on CBS since the Big Ten's new media rights deal announcement with a start time in the primetime 3:30 p.m. slot.
Ohio State will play Youngstown State at noon on Big Ten Network Sept. 9 at Ohio Stadium.
Rounding out the two-game home non-conference slate against Western Kentucky in week three Sept. 16, the Buckeyes will square off against the Hilltoppers at 4 p.m. on Fox.
The kickoff time for Ohio State's Big Ten home opener against Maryland Oct. 7 has been narrowed down to either a noon, 3:30 or 4 p.m. kickoff with the channel provider to be determined. The proposed time slots suggest that either Fox or CBS will likely carry the game.
The Buckeyes previously had their start times and channels announced for when they take on Notre Dame Sept. 23, Michigan State Nov. 11 and Michigan Nov. 25.
Ohio State will play the Fighting Irish and Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on NBC and will keep up tradition with The Game being broadcast on Fox at noon.
