Ohio State Buckeyes coaches Ryan Day and Jim Knowles take the podium once again to preview Saturday's game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The Buckeyes and Golden Gophers are set to kick off at 4 p.m. on November 18 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

Day had plenty of good things to say after Ohio State's 38-3 victory over the Michigan State Spartans last weekend. Knowles' defense had one of their best performances of the season in that contest, living up to their nationally recognized reputation.

Saturday's contest with Minnesota will serve as Ohio State's Senior Day. The Buckeyes will honor those members of the team whom will not be returning after this season, both traditional fourth-years and beyond.

The Golden Gophers have already played three teams ranked in the nation's top-25, including the No. 20 North Carolina Tar Heels, No. 2 Michigan Wolverines and No. 24 Iowa Hawkeyes. Their coming game against the Buckeyes will be their toughest yet this season.

Minnesota's last victory came three weeks ago against the Spartans, 27-12. Since then, however, the Golden Gophers have dropped their last two matchups against the Illinois Fighting Illini (27-26) and Purdue Boilermakers (49-30).

Ohio State is 46-7 against Minnesota in their all-time series, which dates back to October 15, 1921. The Buckeyes have come out on top in 28 of their last 30 meetings with the Golden Gophers, including each of the last 12 games.

Ohio State and Minnesota square off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 18. Live coverage of the game will air nationally on Big Ten Network.
