Buckeyes Jump Up In Top 25 Rankings After Notre Dame Win

The Ohio State Buckeyes are moving up the polls after their win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
In this story:

The Ohio State Buckeyes remain unbeaten after a clutch 17-14 win on the road versus the No. 9 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday. So, after the Buckeyes win in South Bend, where do they rank in the new AP Top-25 poll?

Nine of the Top-10 teams entering Saturday's Week 4 slate of games got through the weekend with wins, and Ohio State might have had the most impressive one, moving up to No. 4 in the rankings.

As for the teams ahead of Texas, the No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs still hold their top spot after a dominant 49-21 win over UAB. The win at home versus UAB followed a come-from-behind win against South Carolina. The Bulldogs were able to bounce back with a strong display against the Dragons.

Additionally, the No. 2 ranked Michigan Wolverines handled Rutgers in a 31-7 win in the first game back on the sidelines for coach Jim Harbaugh after serving a three-game suspension.

The Texas Longhorns also took care of Business in a big way on Saturday, taking down the Baylor Bears in a 38-6 blowout win in Waco, in the final Big 12 meeting ever between the two teams.

Now entering a much-needed bye week, the Buckeyes will not be back in action until October 7, when they'll host the Maryland Terrapins in Columbus at Ohio Stadium.
