WATCH: Ohio State Drops Game Trailer For Week 4 Battle vs. Notre Dame
Just a couple days remain until Week 4's set of Saturday games and all eyes are on the matchup between Ohio State and Notre Dame. The two undefeated squads get set to do battle in a make-or-break moment early on in this season.
It's a contest that's projected to go down to the wire, but head coach Ryan Day and his team are feeling as ready as ever as they hope to defeat the ninth-ranked Fighting Irish.
With things starting to heat up, the Buckeyes took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday to release their pre-game trailer for the upcoming clash in South Bend.
Ohio State has won their last five meetings with Notre Dame, dating back to 1936, and came away with a 21-10 home victory last season. Things are different, though, in 2023. Both teams are under new quarterbacks and this edition of the encounter will be held in Notre Dame Stadium, which is sure to factor in at least a bit.
The Buckeyes seem confident that they're on track to secure a road victory. Newly named starting quarterback Kyle McCord will be counted on to distribute the ball to Ohio State's dynamic playmakers like wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. and running back TreVeyon Henderson.
If the scarlet and grey offense can put up three or four touchdowns, their defense should be able to hold Notre Dame off to grab the W.
The game will kick off this Saturday, September 23 at 6:30 pm CT and will be televised on NBC Sports.
