Today is May 15, 2023, and here's the news you need to know out of Oxford.

1. Ole Miss has failed to qualify for the SEC Tournament in 2023.

Just a year after winning the national championship in baseball, the Rebels have failed to qualify for the SEC Tournament this season. You can read more about the Rebels' struggles here.

2. Rebels cancel midweek game vs. Austin Peay.

The two programs "mutually agreed" to cancel Tuesday's midweek game in Oxford, giving the Rebels just three games remaining on their schedule this season.

3. Eli Manning has been inducted into Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame.

Manning led Ole Miss to a 10-3 record in his senior year in 2003, and that year was capped off with a win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Cotton Bowl. You can read more here.

4. Chris Beard, Ole Miss basketball land transfer big man from Oklahoma State.

Speaking of Oklahoma State, Rebels basketball has landed a portal player from the Cowboys with the move officially coming over the weekend.
