Ex-Ole Miss WR AJ Brown Upset With QB During Thursday Night Football
OXFORD, Miss. -- The Philadelphia Eagles managed to hold off a late comeback attempt from the Minnesota Vikings and secure a 34-28 victory on Thursday Night Football, but former Ole Miss Rebel A.J. Brown was not too pleased despite the win.
At the start of the fourth quarter, the Eagles wideout could be seen yelling at his quarterback, Jalen Hurts, on the Philadelphia sideline before coach Nick Sirianni stepped in to try and cool the former Rebel.
Through three quarters, Brown had only recorded three receptions for 17 yards. Brown finished the game second on the team in receiving, grabbing four passes for 29 yards on six targets.

Brown's teammate, DeVonta Smith, led Philadelphia in receiving versus Minnesota with four receptions, 131 yards, and one touchdown on five targets.
Brown was likely displeased with his lack of targets, as Philly opted to run the ball 48 while Hurts only attempted 23 passes. The Eagles totaled 259 rushing yards compared to 193 passing yards.
This is a common occurrence in the NFL, as players will often be vocal on the sidelines about their disagreements, but it usually gets smoothed over once the game ends.
Sirianni was asked about what was said between Brown and Hurts during his postgame presser, but the Eagles' coach was tight-lipped.
"Ya'll don't need to know what was going on," Sirianni told reporters.
Through two games, Brown has hauled in 11 receptions for 108 yards and zero touchdowns on 16 targets. After two contests in 2022, the star wideout had caught 15 passes for 224 yards on 21 targets.
