The Ole Miss Rebels ended their Memorial Day weekend on a positive note.

On3 three-star class of 2024 wide receiver Rahji Dennis announced on Twitter Monday that he committed to Ole Miss. Dennis marked the ninth commitment and the second wide receiver, joining top-30 player in Mississippi Jeremy Scott, in the Rebels' No. 25-ranked 2024 class, according to 247Sports.

"110% committed," Dennis said on Twitter.

Dennis, who chose Ole Miss over Duke, Miami and Texas A&M among others, is 6-0 and 160 pounds and can fly — a trait that will likely thrive in head coach Lane Kiffin's explosive-play offense.

The New Orleans native ran a 10.2-second 100-meter dash and a 21.09-second 200-meter dash during his outdoor track season at Edna Karr High School.

“Dennis’ speed on the track has been mirrored by development at his position," On3’s Sam Spiegelman wrote on May 22. "This spring, Dennis has been used on gadget plays and designed end-arounds, and has also been outstanding stretching the field vertically and making tough combat catches in the middle of the field.”

Ole Miss produced two NFL talents in Carolina Panthers second-round pick Jonathan Mingo and Green Bay Packers undrafted free agent Malik Heath, and with potential departures of Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins and Dayton Wade after the 2023 season, Dennis will have an opportunity to step in and compete with an inexperienced 2024 receiving corps.
