OXFORD, Miss. -- The No. 15 Ole Miss Rebels defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 48-23 in Week 3 and led both teams in rushing despite lead tailback Quinshon Judkins being limited to just 13 carries after being declared "doubtful" the morning of the contest.

In his stead, quarterback Jaxson Dart led Ole Miss in rushing with a career-high 136 yards and two scores on 14 carries. Senior running back Ulysses Bentley was Ole Miss' second leading rusher versus Georgia Tech with 61 yards and one touchdown on six carries. Bentley found the endzone for the first time since Week 1 of 2022 on a 21-yard scamper that put Ole Miss up 17-3 in the third quarter.

Bentley was made available to speak with the media on Monday and evaluated his performance versus the Yellow Jackets.

"I think I prepared [well] the whole week to be [ready] because I knew that Quinshon was down," Bentley told reporters. "Overall, I think I did good."

Bentley explained that he found out fairly quickly after Ole Miss' Week 2 matchup versus the Tulane Green Wave that he would have an increased role versus Georiga Tech.

"Right after the Tulane game, coach came up to me and told me it was going to be my time to step up [in Week 3]," Bentley said. "I prepared that whole week to step up and came out victorious."

Bentley expressed what it was like having a career game in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium after being hampered by injuries last season.

"It was all fun," Bentley said. "It was all fun to get back out there and just do what I normally do. I just had a great time."

Bentley also previewed Alabama's defense during his presser.

"There is nothing really new there," Bentley said. "They are a four-down defense, so they play pretty hard. We know we have to prepare this whole week and play hard as well."

Kickoff between Ole Miss and Alabama on Saturday is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.
