WATCH: Tre Harris Scores Ole Miss Rebels' Game-Winning TD vs. LSU Tigers

Ole Miss drove down and capped off their game-winning drive with a connection to Tre Harris, who has had a knack for the end zone to begin his Rebels career.

Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver Tre Harris scored five touchdowns in eight quarters to begin the season, but he hadn't found the end zone against the LSU Tigers.

Until 39 seconds to go.

Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart took the snap, turned and rifled a bubble screen to wide receiver Tre Harris, who took care of the rest. He stutter-stepped, throwing safety Ryan Yaites off balance and juking cornerback Laterrance Welch before coasting into the end zone to give Ole Miss its game-winning touchdown against LSU, 55-49.

As Harris cruised into the end zone with 39 seconds remaining, the 13-yard touchdown connection capped off an eight-play, 88-yard drive that spanned 1:57.

An underlying importance of the play that shouldn't be overlooked is the block thrown by tight end Caden Prieskorn. He did not engage with Yaites, who had regained his footing after Harris shook him, but he instead acted mostly as a pick to create enough separation between the Tigers' defender and Harris.

Dart finished the game 26-for-39 with 389 passing yards and four touchdowns. Harris was the Rebels' leading receiver Saturday, hauling in eight passes for 153 yards and one score.

The Rebels' defense forced LSU to punt for just the third time in the game with 2:36 to go in the game, giving Ole Miss one last shot to take the lead.

Surprisingly, after their success through the air, the Rebels kept it on the ground with five-consecutive runs to begin the drive. Running back Quinshon Judkins ran three times for 25 yards and Dart carried it twice for 9 yards.

However, Ole Miss capped off the drive with three-consecutive throws of 24, 17 and 13 yards, respectively, to beat the No. 10 Tigers for the second-consecutive time at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, which reached a record capacity Saturday.
