The No. 10 Oregon Ducks (3-0) are coming off a 55-10 win over the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at home in week 3.

This week they'll face Deion Sanders and the No. 19 Colorado Buffaloes at Autzen Stadium to open up Pac-12 play, but then they'll hit the road in week 5 and head to the Bay Area for a matchup with Stanford.

The Oregon Ducks and Stanford Cardinal will kick off at 3:30 pm PT on Saturday September 30, the Pac-12 announced on Monday.

Oregon won last year's matchup at home in Eugene 45-27, but Stanford leads the all-time series with a record of 50-35-1.

Stanford last beat Oregon in 2021, a game that former Cardinal quarterback Tanner McKee won in comeback fashion in overtime on the Farm.

Oregon and Stanford have given fans some great matchups over the years, especially dating back to the Chip Kelly and David Shaw years at their respective programs.

Troy Taylor made the move from Sacramento State this offseason to head up the Stanford program after Shaw resigned, and the Cardinal is off to a 1-2 start in 2023. Taylor lost his first game against his former team over the weekend, with the Hornets getting the better of the Cardinal 30-23 at home in Palo Alto.

The Cardinal is clearly a program that is in the midst of a rebuild, but the roster always has talented players. Some big names to watch for this year's team include running back Casey Filkins, a Lake Oswego native, as well as veteran tight end Benjamin Yurosek and outside linebacker Aaron Armitage.
