2024 RB Christian Clark Announces College Commitment

One of the top running backs out West has made his college decision.

2024 Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe running back Christian Clark has committed to the Texas Longhorns.

Clark is listed at 6'0, 195 pounds and rated a four-star (0.9071) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 286 player nationally, the No. 23 running back and the No. 3 recruit in Arizona.Ā

He had been working from a top five of Texas, Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Oregon prior to making his commitment. The Arizona standout was scheduled to take his official visit to Georgia this weekend but that trip likely won't happen now.

Clark had been one of Oregon's top running back recruit this cycle and took his official visit with the Ducks this month.

With Clark now off the board Oregon's group of top running back targets likely shrinks to three.Ā

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei standoutĀ Nate Frazier took his official to Oregon last weekend. That's shaping up to be an Oregon vs. Georgia battle.Ā

Washington, D.C. St. John's College product Da'Jaun Riggs will be in Eugene this weekend for his official visit and the Ducks are in the thick of it with schools like Pitt, Minnesota and Wisconsin.Ā

Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea prep Jason Brown Jr. will take his official visit with the Ducks during the season and has been closely tied to Oregon for a long time.
