"I am excited and blessed to announce that I have committed to the University of Oregon!" Ferguson wrote on social media. "I want to thank all of my coaches and family that helped me make my decision. I'm excited to join the Flock."

Ferguson stands at 6'7" and weighs in at 300 pounds. He chose the Ducks over competing offers from Oregon State, Washington State, Nevada and Boise State.

He's rated a three-star (0.8600) recruit on the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 859 player nationally, the No. 70 offensive tackle and the No. 5 recruit.

The Ducks newest pledge was on campus in January and the coaching staff continued to prioritize him among other recruits in the Pacific Northwest and the state of Oregon.

With his commitment to Dan Lanning, Ferguson is the seventh player to join Oregon's 2024 recruiting class. He's the second offensive lineman, joining Vancouver (Wash.) Evergreen standout Fox Crader.

Ferguson's pledge shows the Ducks will continue to prioritize in-state talent, as they already held a commitment from 2024 tight end A.J. Pugliano out of North Medford.

Oregon's 2024 recruiting class now ranks No. 9 in the country by 247Sports and is headlined by wide receivers Jordan Anderson and Tyseer Denmark

After landing a commitment from four-star Texas safety Aaron Flowers last week, the Ducks are poised to go on a run ahead of their spring game on April 29 as they surge for a number of other recruits from coast to coast.
