A'lique Terry and the Oregon offensive line staff are hard at work recruiting the best players in the country.

One player that made his way out to Oregon over the weekend was 2026 Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic offensive tackle Kodi Greene, who spoke with Ducks Digest about the trip.

"My favorite part of the Oregon visit was how friendly the coaches were," he said.

Oregon produced the best center in college football last season in Jackson Powers-Johnson and part of what's standing out about the Ducks is the emphasis that they've placed on the offensive line.

"Stuff that stands out to me is Oregon having five offensive line coaches, whereas other college’s have two, maybe three."

Former Oregon offensive lineman Ryan Walk joined the coaching staff as a graduate assistant and is already hitting it off with recruits he spend time with.

"The coach I spent the most time with was Coach Walk," Greene said. "My relationship was good with him, he was with us the whole day. When we had questions he always had answers to them."

A'lique Terry coached one of the best offensive lines in college football last season and he's part of the reason Green enjoyed his time in Eugene.

"The Ducks made an amazing impression on me. Coach Terry made the visit amazing, he was so kind and so passionate for what he does."

Although things are still early with Washington's top recruit in the 2026 class, the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Greene was clear that Oregon is the team to beat.

"Oregon as of right now is number one in my recruitment, but that could change."

What is Green looking for in a school?

"Something I’m looking for in a school is coaches that will develop me for the next level and coaches that I can have a good relationship with, which I think I can have with Coach Terry."

After his most recent trip to Eugene, Greene has other schools he'd also like to see.

"I hope to take another trip back to Oregon. I hope to take trips to USC, Texas A&M, Michigan, Michigan state and Penn State."
