Oregon WR Commit Dillon Gresham Visiting Arizona This Weekend

The Southern California star had the Wildcats as one of his top schools before committing to the Ducks.

2024 Oregon Ducks wide receiver commit Dillon Gresham is taking an official visit to Arizona this weekend, a source familiar with the situation confirmed to Ducks Digest.

Gresham will also reportedly take an official visit to USC this weekend, according to 247Sports' Greg Biggins.

The San Jacinto (Calif.) playmaker committed to the Ducks on May 22 and chose Oregon from a final three that also included the Washington Huskies and Arizona Wildcats.

"It truly felt like home," Gresham said of why he chose the Ducks. "It was a feeling decision too. I could tell when I stepped on campus at Oregon. From how the coaches showed their hospitality and everything. It was the place to be."

California has been a major recruiting pipeline for the Ducks for a long time, but other schools continue to turn to the Golden State to build their college football programs. Just in the 2024 class alone, 9 of Oregon's 24 commits come from California, headlined by DL Aydin Breland, CB Dakoda Fields and CB Sione Laulea to name a few.

Gresham was one of the more under-recruited players in the region, which is a shock considering he finished his junior season with 2,051 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns on 90 catches.

He's rated a four-star (0.9262) recruit by the 247Sports Composite, but all of his reported scholarship offers are from the West Coast with the exception of Colorado and Miami.

Arizona hasn't been much of a recruiting power in recent years, but they've got a great product to sell after finishing the regular season with a 9-3 record behind the play of quarterback Noah Fifita and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, two Southern California natives.

Gresham has never publicly wavered in his commitment to the Ducks, and recently visited Oregon for the Washington State game.

This trip could be something worth keeping an eye on with the early signing period less than two weeks away.
