Over the weekend I was in Mission Viejo, CA to attend the Under Armour Next Football Camp, which featured a lot of the best talent in Southern California and the western region.

I spoke with a number of elite recruits, many of them Oregon targets to get the latest in their recruitments.

Here are my latest notes and intel from the camp.

2024

WR Xavier Jordan (Chatsworth, CA)

Jordan has exploded on the recruiting trail since Oregon first got involved in January with an offer. It wasn't hard to see why as he took home wide receiver MVP honors.

He's coming off recent trips to Washington, Oklahoma and Ohio State, leaving Columbus with an offer from the Buckeyes. The talented wideout plans to see Tennessee, Oregon, Oklahoma, USC and Penn Sate in the near future.

As for official visits he knows Oklahoma, USC and Washington will each receive one of the coveted trips.

Junior Adams has kept the Ducks involved but it feels like Oregon could fading a little bit since other schools got involved. This feels like USC leads, which isn't a huge shock due to daily communication from the Trojans.

CB Dakoda Fields (Gardena, CA)

Fields is one of the best corners out West and he's very high on Demetrice Martin's board. Oregon is in a great spot here and he'll return to Eugene next week. USC looms large with numerous visits this spring and Ohio State left a big impression on the four-star corner after his first trip to Columbus.

LB Kamar Mothudi (Valley Village, CA)

Mothudi boarded a flight to Washington after Sunday's camp and he's been impressed with what the Huskies did in year one under Kalen DeBoer. Their development has also been a big part of the appeal.

He'll visit Oregon for the spring game and it's looking like he'll make his decision near the end of the summer or early in his season. Nebraska, Utah, Cal and Arizona are also involved with frequent contact.

I logged my prediction for Mothudi to end up at Oregon last month and still feel confident in my pick.

WR Aaron Butler (Calabasas, CA)

Butler is one of the highest-rated targets for Oregon at wide receiver along with Ryan Pellum.

He recently took a trip to Colorado and the Buffs knocked it out of the park. His dad played with Deion Sanders in the NFL which could give them an inside track in his recruitment.

The crafty playmaker has set official visits to Colorado (April 22) and Georgia (April 14), but he also knows Alabama will get an official visit. He was raving about his conversations with Oregon OC Will Stein and the Ducks will get their chance to impress him when he's in town on Thursday for an unofficial visit.

Butler plans to make his commitment over these next couple of months before the summer and right now it seems like Georgia and Alabama are leading the way.

DL T.A. Cunningham (Los Alamitos, CA)

Cunningham was dominant all day on Sunday, pushing offensive linemen around with ease. He earned an invite to the Under Armour All-American Bowl due to his performance.

He's been busy on the trail lately and taken recent trips to Penn State, Ohio State and Miami. He'll visit LSU this weekend and USC has stayed involved as well led by defensive line coach Shaun Nua.

He plans to narrow things down in the near future from his 61 reported scholarship offers.

WR Jason Robinson Jr. (Long Beach, CA)

Robinson was a long-time commit to USC until he reopened things in February. Since then he's taken recent trips Cal, Notre Dame and Colorado. He plans to get back to Notre Dame and Colorado for the spring game this month in addition to seeing Washington, Syracuse and Penn State before May.

Notre Dame, Utah and Cal look like the three schools that could be pushing ahead in his recruitment but he's in no rush to make a commitment.

OL Manesse Itete (Modesto, CA)

6-5, 289

Itete is one of the more interesting offensive line recruits in the 2024 class. He's originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and has been in the U.S. for just over two years.

He moved to the states on a basketball scholarship but has clearly made a name for himself playing football. Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, UCLA and Miami have all gotten recent trips and he'll head to Florida State this weekend.

There's been some contact with Oregon and Dan Lanning and he's working on setting up a trip to Eugene. The NFL development has his attention. He's aiming to commit before his senior season.

OL Eugene Brooks (Chatsworth, CA)

Brooks took home OL MVP honors on Sunday and looked nasty in 1-on-1 reps. At 6'5", 320 pounds he's going to let you know when he wins a rep. He visited Washington over the weekend as he gets a feel for the Huskies. He has trips coming up to Georgia on April 6 and Texas on April 22.

He told me USC, Oregon and Texas are pushing hardest. The communication from the Ducks has been great and he's building a relationship with A'lique Terry and the offensive line staff. Brooks hasn't locked in a date to visit Oregon but that trip is in the works and should come soon.

He'll likely take his official visits in the fall and would like to make his commitment before his senior season if not during the year.

RB Nate Frazier (Santa Ana, CA)

Frazier is one the best backs in the entire country and the Ducks have been after him since last fall. He loves what he's hearing from Oregon and has a very tight relationship with Carlos Locklyn.

He raved about his first trip to Nebraska and will see Tennessee and Alabama this month. I think the Ducks lead.

2025

RB Jordon Davison (Santa Ana, CA)

Davison is a five-star back and puts on a show every time I see him. He was dominant alongside Frazier at Mater Dei this season.

He's got practically every school in the country coming after him but he'll get back to Eugene next week on April 11.

CB Dijon Lee (Mission Viejo, CA)

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound defensive back was one of the best on the field on Sunday. He earned defensive back MVP honors at the recent Rivals camp in LA and left the UA Next camp with an invite to the Future 50.

Lee visited USC over the weekend and will visit Washington on April 21. Before that he'll be in Arizona this week for their spring game and has lots of friends up there.
