2024 Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan wide receiver Ryan Pellum has flipped his commitment from the USC Trojans to the Oregon Ducks.

He announced his decision during a national signing day ceremony on the Millikan campus.

Pellum initially committed to the Trojans in June, but on Wednesday he decided he wanted to play his college football in Eugene for Dan Lanning and the Ducks.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound wide receiver is the second big flip of the day for Oregon, as St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan announced he would be flipping his commitment from the Ohio State Buckeyes to the Ducks.

Pellum is rated a four-star (0.9515) recruit according to the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 99 player nationally, the No. 19 wide receiver and the No. 11 recruit in California. He's also an Under Armour All-American selection.

The Long Beach native continues Oregon's streak of elite pass catchers, as he joins the aforementioned McClellan as well as Dillon Gresham and Jack Ressler in Junior Adams' wide receiver haul for the 2024 class.

Dan Lanning and the Ducks continue to place a strong emphasis on not only the Golden State, but specifically in the talent-rich hotbed that is Southern California. Wide receiver is a position the Ducks are looking to retool ahead of the 2024 season after losing record-setting wide receiver Troy Franklin to the NFL Draft.

Although there's been no official announcement, it feels like returning starters Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden and Gary Bryant Jr. could be leaning toward a return to Eugene next season.
