Oregon recently picked up key commitments from four-star safety Aaron Flowers from Forney,Texas as well as four-star defensive lineman Tionne Gray from Florissant, Missouri.
Staying dominant on the West Coast the Ducks have picked up a few commitments from their home state in 6-foot-3 tight end AJ Pugliano and three-star offensive tackle Trent Ferguson. The Ducks also hold a verbal commitment from 285-pound tackle Fox Crader from Vancouver, Washington.
The Ducks finished the 2023 cycle ranked No. 9 nationally and look like they're well on their way to finishing inside the top ten once again in 2024.
Scoring recruitments from quarterback Luke Moga, and Jaxon Jones, both out of Phoenix, Oregon continues to have a strong recruiting influence in Arizona.
With this being only Dan Lanning’s second full recruiting cycle at the helm in Oregon, it's promising that his staff is able to attract prospects from across the country. Obidegwu is one of many recruited by second-year Cornerbacks Coach Demetrice Martin, who was also involved in the recruitments of three All-Americans including his son Cole Martin as well as Rodrick Pleasant and Daylen Austin in 2023.
Other big names to watch on the recruiting trail for the Ducks in 2024 include Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy quarterback Michael Van Buren, Tuscon (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic edge rusher Elijah Rushing and Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Brandon Baker.
