There's no time for celebrating in today's age of recruiting. After landing a commitment from four-star Texas safety Aaron Flowers on Friday, the Ducks still have plenty of work to do in the 2024 class.

On Saturday 2024 defensive lineman Xadavien Sims placed Oregon in his top ten schools, announcing his newest group on social media.

Oregon finds themselves in the company of schools like Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Michigan State among others.

Sims plays for Durant (Okla.) High School and is listed at 6'3", 275 pounds.ย

He's rated a four-star (0.9262) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 189 player nationally, the No. 24 defensive lineman and the No. 2 recruit in Oklahoma.ย

The standout defensive lineman has been on the move this spring, taking recent trips to Georgia Tech, Arkansas, USC and Michigan State. Mel Tucker and the Spartans could be viewed as the team to beat, as they hold all four of his 247Sports crystal ball predictions.

Oregon holds a commitment from one defensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting class in edge rusher Jaxson Jones from Yuma (Ariz.) Catholic. Defensive line coach Tony Tuioti and defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi signed eleven defensive linemen in the 2023 class between true defensive linemen and players on the edge.ย

The Ducks are expected to get visits from a number of elite defensive linemen this spring including names like Elijah Rushing, Colin Simmons and Dylan Stewart.
