PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers' game tonight against Boston College has drawn interest from at least one NBA franchise.

With his team enjoying an off-night, Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens made the short trip over the Chestnut Hill to see the Panthers battle the Eagles at the Silvio Conte Forum.

Stevens might just be a basketball junkie, looking for a game wherever he can find one, but there is plenty of potential NBA talent in the building for him to scout in the process. His Celtics own a 5.5-game lead for the best record in the league and three picks in the 2024 NBA Draft - one first and two second round selections.

Pitt's Blake Hinson has entered NBA Draft conversations after a midseason scoring explosion. He's averaging 18.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while making 41.5% of his 3-point shots.

Freshman guard Bub Carrington has also drawn some interest as a potential draft pick during his standout first season in college basketball. He's averaging 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game and is a bonafide ACC All-Freshman team candidate.

Boston College's Quinten Post, who's averaging 16.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while knocking down 43.4% of his 3-pointers, could also be a prospect Stevens has his eye on.
