Pitt Extends Offers to Coveted Junior Prospects

The Pitt Panthers continue to hit the recruiting trail hard with spring practices approaching.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have stayed busy on the recruiting trail as winter turns to spring. As the start of spring practices near, they've received a commitment and have begun scheduling visits for the next class of prospects in addition to keeping current with offering the top players in the class of 2024

Pitt added Myles Berry, a 2024 defensive back and wide receiver, to their list of spring visitors. He'll see the facilities and city later in April. Trips to Iowa State, NC State and Toledo are on his schedule for now, in addition to other stops. He was in Pittsburgh earlier this year for a Junior Day.

Two offers have been sent out to a pair of offensive standouts in the class of 2024. Three-star quarterback Sam Kaiser, a 6'6 junior from Columbia, Missouri, picked up his second Power 5 offer from the Panthers (Vanderbilt is the other) and Jake Guarnera, a three-star interior lineman from Ponte Verda, Florida, spoke with offensive line coach Dave Borbley and added his 20th high-major offer from Pitt. Michigan, Penn State and Florida State are just some of the schools involved.

Pitt picked up a preferred walk-on commitment from Zach Zollers, a wide receiver and defensive back from Spring Ford High School and Royersford, Pennsylvania, up in the northeastern corner of the state.
