PITTSBURGH -- Just two Pitt Panthers - current or former - entered the NBA Draft Early Entry Draft Process this spring. Both returned to school but one, Ithiel Horton, will still change teams.

Horton, a 6'5 guard from Vauxhall, New Jersey who spent three seasons with the Panthers after transferring from Delaware, then played for UCF this past season, will transfer one more time as a graduate according to a report from Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.

Horton averaged 9.2 points on 37% shooting from 3-point range, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while with Pitt. Horton transfered to UCF following his suspension-shortened 2021-22 season in which he played just 13 games. He averaged 12.3 points and 3.7 rebounds while making 35% of his 3-pointers and 83% of his free throws in 2022-23 with the Knights.

Prior to Pitt, Horton enjoyed a decorated career at Delaware that included All-Colonial Athletic Association Tournament honors and All-Freshman Team honors in 2019.
