The Pitt Panthers have lost an assistant coach.

PITTSBURGH - - In addition to looking for new players in the transfer portal to fill the open spots on their roster, the Pitt Panthers will be filling an assistant coaching role as well this offseason.

Jake Presutti, who served as assistant athletic director of scouting for Pitt during the past year, has taken a new job at te University of Buffalo, where he will be an assistant coach for the Bulls.

Presutti came to Pitt from Marquette, where he spent seven seasons working his way up from video coordinator to assistant coach. He played a significant role in Pitt's transfer portal recruiting and is credited with helping lead the charge to land former Golden Eagle sharpshooter Greg Elliot, a graduate transfer who was Pitt's best threat from 3-point range this past season.
