PITTSBURGH -- By taking down Boston College at home on Valentine's Day, the 2022-23 Pitt Panthers earned their 12 ACC win and have set a program record for ACC wins in a season. They surpassed the 2013-14 team, which won 11 conference games during the program's inaugural year in the league after transitioning from the Big East.

With this win, the Panthers continue their pursuit of an ACC regular season title. The 2014 Panthers finished a long way from that milestone - just fifth in the conference.

The Panthers still have five games left on the schedule and are just three wins away from tying the program record for conference wins overall. The earliest Pitt can tie the record is on February 21st against Georgia Tech and the earliest they could break the record is four days later when Syracuse comes to town.
