INDIANAPOLIS -- Jordan Addison spent two wildly successful years with the Pitt Panthers, catching 160 passes, gaining 2,259 yards, scoring 22 total touchdowns and winning a Biletnikoff Award and ACC Championship in 2021.

He still remembers his time with the Panthers fondly and even took a moment to shout out his former school during his pre-workout interviews with media this weekend.

Addison said he still keeps up with most of his old teammates from Pittsburgh, texting and playing video games together almost every day. He also recalled his game-winning, Coastal Division-winning catch against Virginia in 2021 as one of the best memories of his college career. In his final game at then-Heinz Feild, Addison ripped a floating pass from the hands of a Virginia defender and ran the length of the field for his fourth touchdown of the afternoon.

"I just thought it showed that in big-time moments, I’m going to step up to the occasion.”

Addison, who transfered to USC last offseason, also enjoyed seeing Pitt knock off UCLA in dramatic fashion this year at the Sun Bowl.

"At USC, they’re one of our rivals, so them handling that business was real good.”
