PITTSBURGH -- The 2023 college football season is rapidly approaching and bettors have started to make their picks on win totals and game odds for the opening week of games. If you're looking for a reliable bet should look at the Pitt Panthers, who have more often than not been successful against the odds under current head coach Pat Narduzzi.

Narduzzi owns a 53-48-2 record against the spread since arriving at Pitt, good for a 53.9% winning percentage that ranks fifth among ACC coaches, according to data from BetPennsylvania.com. Only Duke's Mike Elko, Clemson's Dabo Swinney, Syracuse's Dino Babers and Wake Forest's Dave Clawson own better marks.

Narduzzi's Pitt teams have been some of the most consistently successful in the conference since he took over. Swinney's Clemson has dominated but Narduzzi is the only other coach in the conference to have won a league title since he took over and he owns a 41-22 record in ACC play, good for a .651 winning percentage.
