Larry Fitzgerald is the 25th Pitt Panther to be elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.

PITTSBURGH -- Former Pitt Panthers wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is one of a few college football legends who will be immortalized in the College Football Hall of Fame.

The National Football Foundation announced this week that Fitzgerald would become the 25th player or coach with a connection to Pitt to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the best players to ever grace the sport.
