PITTSBURGH -- Former Pitt Panthers assistant Jonathan DiBasio has found a new home after departing the program last month.

DiBasio will move from Pitt to Boston College after taking a job as an assistant quarterbacks coach and analyst with the Eagles, according to a report from Pete Thamel at ESPN.

DiBasio's departure was sudden but quiet. His Twitter account and staff profile from the Pitt website were deleted about two weeks ago.

He acted as the right-hand man to offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Frank Cignetti and occupied a very hands-on role coaching Pitt's quarterbacks. He was also one of the program's primary recruiters in New England, where they've been active looking for new talent over the past couple of years.

DiBasio has previous coaching experience at Vanderbilt in addition to Pitt and had previously worked under current Eagles head coach Jeff Hafley as a graduate assistant at Boston College, making this somewhat of a homecoming.
