Three Star DB Davion Pritchard Commits to Pitt
PITTSBURGH — Another one of the four commits to give a verbal pledge to the Pitt Panthers this weekend has made his verbal pledge public.
Davion Pritchard, a three-star defensive back from Youngstown, Ohio, told Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi that he would commit on Saturday and made the announcement the day after.
Pritchard is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, which is the only one of the major recruiting services to assign him a rating. He is ranked as the No. 64 player in the state of Ohio and the No. 120 cornerback in the class of 2024.
He held offers from Kentucky, Buffalo, Toledo, Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan before picking Pitt.
He’s the second defensive back to commit during the first wave of the June recruiting storm for Pitt. Allen Bryant, another three-star corner from Florida, was the first.
