PITTSBURGH -- One former Pitt Panthers quarterback will be in attendance at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana at the end of this month.

Kedon Slovis, the successor to Kenny Pickett at Pitt, has accepted an invite to the NFL Combine, where he will work out for and conduct meetings with the 32 teams in attendance.

Slovis was a polarizing figure on the 2022 Pitt team. He arrived as a highly-touted transfer from USC who showed flashes of fantastic arm talent through three productive, but injury-riddled years as a Trojan.

Slovis ended the year with 2,397 yards, 10 touchdowns, nine interceptions, a completion percentage of 58.4 and a passer rating of 127.1 as the Panthers finished the year 9-4 and ranked in the final College Football Playoff poll for a second consecutive season.

He used his final year of eligibility to transfer and play for BYU last season amid some criticism from his former teammates. Slovis opened the year as the starter for the Cougars but was eventually benched. He threw for 1,716 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions in six games.
