PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will be well-represented at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana later this month.

Three former Panthers - wide receiver Bub Means, offensive tackle Matt Goncalves and cornerback M.J. Devonshire - will workout in front of and conduct interviews with the 32 NFL squads in attendance.

Devonshire, an Aliquippa native, one-upped his breakout 2022 campaign. He set career-highs in tackles for loss (0.5), interceptions (4) and passes defended (10). He ends his Pitt career with 83 tackles. 1.5 tackles for loss and eight interceptions - one of which was the iconic “Pitt Six” that sealed a win over West Virginia.

Means finished the 2023 campaign with 41 receptions for 721 yards, ranking eighth in the ACC, while also pacing the team with six touchdowns.

Goncalves emerged as one of the Panthers' best offensive linemen after a strong 2022 campaign in which he helped fill in for Carter Warren, a starter and team captain who went down with a knee injury midway through the season. Goncalves was a preseason first-team All-ACC selection before suffering a season-ending injury earlier this year.
