Pitt Makes Lineup Changes Against Boston College

The Pitt Panthers switched its starting lineup for the Boston College game.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers made some notable changes to their starting lineup prior to their game against the Boston College Eagles.

Jake Kradel and Blake Zubovic, both in their final year with the Panthers, worked with the first team during warmups and were announced as starters pre-game. Zubovic will kick to right guard while Kradel will play at left guard, replacing B.J. Williams and Jason Collier Jr.

Redshirt freshman Samuel Okunlola got the start alongside Dayon Hayes at defensive end. Tyler Bentley and David Green - two more seniors - are the starters at defensive tackle. This is Okunlola's first start.

The rest of the starting defense aligned with the depth chart released at the beginning of the week.

Malcolm Epps, a super senior as well, also got the start at tight end over listed starter Karter Johnson. Both C'Bo Flemister and Rodney Hammond were introduced as starters at running back and Nate Yarnell was greeted with raucous applause from the student section when he was announced as starting quarterback.
