PITTSBURGH -- As training camp nears it's end and the Pitt Panthers begin final preparations for the regular season, they will make some costume changes.

A handful of Panthers switched their numbers over the weekend prior to the start of week four of training camp.

Freshman wideout Kenny Johnson is now wearing No. 2 after taking No. 35 when he arrived this summer and his classmate and position mate Zion Fowler-El is now No. 12 after wearing No. 23 during his first training camp. Another freshman wideout, Israel Polk wore No. 27 during camp so far and is now No. 18.

Defensive lineman Deandre Jules, who wore No. 90 all during camp, has taken No. 0.

Wide receiver Daejon Reynolds is now No. 3 and Peter Vardzel takes his old number, 81.

Safety P.J. O'Brien switched from No. 22 to No. 5.

Defensive end Nate Temple trimmed one digit off his number to go from No. 16 to No. 6. Tight end Malcolm Epps did the same, going from No. 87 to No. 7, a number he'll share with safety Javon McIntyre, who was formerly No. 20. Defensive back Jesse Anderson took Temple's No. 16.

Defensive end Sam Okunlola is now No. 8 after claiming No. 17 during his freshman year.

Cornerback Ryland Gandy moved from No. 18 to No. 10.

Defensive back Temarion Crumpley switched from No. 24 to No. 15 and running back Montravius Lloyd is rocking No. 15 now after wearing No. 28 during the first few weeks of his first training camp.

Linebacker Jordan Bass moved from No. 25 to No. 20, his high school number, and safety Stephon Hall took No. 25.

Wide receiver Lorenzo Jenkins took No. 26 after wearing No. 48 for camp up to this point.
