PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are in the middle of a transition from one generation of offensive linemen to the next but are looking for some transfer veterans to help them bridge the gap.

Pitt has targeted former Harvard offensive lineman Jacob Rizy, a 6'5 and 305-pound senior with two years of eligibility remaining. He picked up an offer from Pitt this week.

Rizy also holds offers from Duke, Purdue, Tulane, Tulsa, UTSA, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest and that list is sure to grow with time.

Rizy has appeared in 22 games over three seasons with the Harvard Crimson and started 21. He earned first-team All-Ivy League Honors in 2023 and was named to the second-team All-Ivy League offense in 2022, when he blocked for the conference's leading rusher, Aidan Borguet.

The Panthers are expected to return most of their starting offensive line from a year ago. Tackles Branson Taylor and Ryan Baer both announced their intention to return to Pitt. Center Terrance Moore and guard B.J. Williams have yet to make their plans for next season public.
