PITTSBURGH -- 14 former Pitt Panthers completed their final workouts at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Pittsburgh's South Side this week, as they ran, jumped, lifted, caught and ran through other drills in front of the scouts and executives coming from all around the NFL and other professional football leagues.

The Panthers were proud of their efforts and so was their head coach, who said it was like watching his own kids as he observed the men who had been with him for three years or more chase their dreams of playing professional football.
