PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have completed two weeks' worth of spring practices and now the fun begins. The team has scheduled their first scrimmage of the spring for this weekend at Acrisure Stadium.

Under the bright lights of their home stadium, the Panthers will get their first real look at what the 2023 squad brings to the table. They will play some live football, 11-on-11 with full contact, the first time they'll do that this season. Head coach Pat Narduzzi said he's looking for the offense to stretch the field and is eager to see how his defense reacts to the challenge of vertical passing. Javon McIntyre and A.J. Woods are certainly ready to cover and lay some hits after holding back all spring.
