PITTSBURGH -- New Pitt wide receivers coach Tiquan Underwood Tweeted a message of support for wide receiver Jordan Addison on Thu afternoon. Addison entered the transfer portal on Tuesday and is fielding offers from college football's blue bloods -- Texas, Alabama, USC and others.

"Dear Pitt fans," Underwood wrote. "No need to bash this young man like it or not this is the new landscape of college football. ... I wish JA nothing but the best! He's humble, talented, & a hard worker."

Underwood joined pat Narduzzi's staff in February 2022 after the now-former receivers coach, Brennan Marion, left to take the same job at Texas at the end of the 2022 season.
