PITTSBURGH -- The home conference of the Pitt Panthers had already shaken up the scheduling model this year, when they ditched divisions and assigned three annual rivals and five rotating conference opponents to fill out the eight-game slate.

But the additions of Cal, Stanford and SMU to the ACC this year has forced the league to rethink its scheduling model for the near future and this week, the league revealed the next seven years' worth of opponents for all teams, including Pitt.

Pitt kept two protected matchups from this new model in contests against Syracuse and Boston College. Virginia Tech was the Panthers' other natural rival in the previous scheduling model, but the Panthers will play just four contests against the Hokies over the next seven seasons.

The Panthers' full slate of conference opponents over those seven years are as follows. Home contests are in italics.

2024: Syracuse, Boston College, Louisville, North Carolina, Virginia, Clemson, SMU, Cal

2025: Syracuse, Boston College, Louisville, NC State, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Miami, Stanford

2026: Syracuse, Boston College, Louisville, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Miami

2027: Syracuse, Boston College, NC State, Duke, Virginia, Florida State, SMU, Cal
